After Hours Care

When the office is closed, there are still several options.  Remember, always call 911 for a true medical emergency.

  • Secure Text Messaging

    Your child’s pediatrician is available until 7:30pm for after hours text messaging for urgent matters. After 7:30pm, a $15 fee will apply unless you are part of the monthly membership plan. Please only use this service for urgent questions or concerns. You have the option to leave a message by text or phone for non urgent matters, and they will be responded to the following business day.

  • After hours calls

    For urgent concerns that arise after the office is closed, you can call the office number and follow the prompts to speak to the physician. A $25 fee will apply unless you are part of the monthly membership plan. If you leave a message for a non urgent matter, it will be responded to the following business day.

  • Telemedicine

    After hours telemedicine may be an option depending on your child’s signs and symptoms. Most insurance companies pay for telemedicine visits, but check with your insurance carrier regarding coverage.

  • Your insurance company’s 24 hour nurse line

    Most insurance companies provide a 24 hour line dedicated for questions and concerns that may arise after your child’s pediatrician’s office has closed. Check your insurance card or call your insurance company for more information.

  • Urgent Care

    Please contact us before taking your child to urgent care, as we may be able to save you a trip. After hours telemedicine is available, and for membership plan patients, after hours clinic visits can be arranged when needed.
